Our story
Welcome to Gaia’s Garden Organics. Clinical herbalism rooted in Arkansas’s Ouachita foothills. We grow, harvest, and prepare every remedy ourselves on certified-organic land. Not a wellness brand sourcing globally. Seed-to-bottle herbal medicine, made by hand.

The Beginning
My journey into herbal medicine began not with ancestral wisdom, but with a mother’s determination to help her suffering child. My son faced a cascade of medical conditions, severe eczema, food allergies, environmental sensitivities that were stealing his childhood joy. We saw specialist after specialist, accumulated prescriptions, followed protocols. But something felt incomplete.
I enrolled in nursing school thinking medical training would give me the tools to truly help him, but during my clinical rotations I realized conventional healthcare wasn’t my path. The system didn’t allow space for what patients really needed, time to be heard, holistic understanding of their struggles, approaches that honored the body’s innate wisdom rather than just suppressing symptoms.
That’s when I discovered yoga therapy and began my transformation into a Clinical Yoga Therapist, a journey spanning over seven years that dramatically improved my son’s quality of life through nervous-system regulation and mind-body connection. But I wanted to go deeper. Plants kept calling me back, and I pursued that passion with professional rigor, completing my clinical herbalist certification and studying botanical medicine, pharmacology, herb-drug interactions, and therapeutic applications with the same dedication I’d brought to healthcare training.
But book knowledge wasn’t enough, I needed relationship with the plants themselves, hands-in-soil connection to the medicine I would offer others. So I built Gaia’s Garden Organics from the ground up in Umpire, Arkansas. Every plant in these gardens has a story. Every herb I harvest carries intention. Every remedy I craft holds the care I wish someone had offered my family when we were struggling.
Why it matters
Most herbal brands source ingredients from multiple countries, have no relationship with the growers, and cannot verify growing conditions, harvest timing, or handling practices. They’re essentially middlemen, buying wholesale, repackaging, and marketing products they didn’t create.
We do the opposite. Every flower in our essences, every herb in our tinctures and teas, grows in our own organic gardens. We plant seeds, tend plants through their growing season, harvest at optimal times (often dawn, when plant energies peak), and prepare remedies fresh, typically within hours of harvest.
This complete control over the supply chain ensures purity, potency, and energetic integrity impossible to achieve when sourcing globally. When you know exactly where your medicine comes from, how it was grown, and who prepared it, that integrity translates into more effective remedies.

What we stand for
The principles guiding everything we create.
We intentionally limit production to maintain quality. When products sell out, they're out until the next batch is ready. We prioritize doing things right over scaling quickly.
Clinical herbalist training means understanding herb-drug interactions, contraindications, appropriate dosing, and evidence-based applications. This healthcare-level expertise protects you.
Our certified organic practices protect soil health, waterways, and beneficial insects. No synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers, ever.
You deserve to know exactly what's in your medicine and where it comes from. We provide complete transparency about ingredients, growing methods, and preparation techniques.
Herbal medicine shouldn't be gatekept or mystified. We're committed to educating our community, sharing knowledge freely, and making professional-quality remedies accessible.
Plants are our teachers, not just our resources. We approach cultivation and preparation with gratitude, harvesting mindfully, and honoring the intelligence of the botanical world.
Training
Clinical herbalism requires rigorous training in botanical medicine, anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic applications. These credentials ensure you receive professional-quality herbal medicine, not hobby-level experimentation.
Comprehensive training in botanical medicine, herb-drug interactions, and therapeutic applications.
Trained in the classical Patanjali Yoga Sutras lineage and the Bihar Yoga tradition (Satyananda), the source of the modern Yoga Nidra protocol. Yoga Therapy works the nervous-system side of the same patterns the herbs work chemically.
Certified organic practices across our Arkansas farm and medicinal herb production.
Advanced study in plant pharmacology, phytochemistry, and evidence-based herbalism.
Specialized training in tincture-making, flower essence preparation, and therapeutic tea blending.
Unlike hobby herbalists or wellness influencers, clinical herbalists complete hundreds of hours of classroom study, clinical practice, and examination. This professional training ensures safety, efficacy, and appropriate application of botanical medicine.
How we work
Complete control from planting to your hands.
We plant organic seeds or ethically-sourced plants in our certified organic Arkansas gardens. Soil is enriched with compost, cover crops, and regenerative practices. No synthetic chemicals, ever. Plants are tended daily, monitored for optimal health, and given the time they need to develop full medicinal potency.
Harvest timing dramatically affects therapeutic compounds. We harvest at specific times, lavender at dawn when calming properties peak, goldenrod mid-morning when confidence energy is strongest, rose at the exact moment of full bloom. This attention to energetic and chemical potency is impossible at industrial scale.
Most herbs lose potency during drying and shipping. We prepare tinctures and flower essences within hours of harvest, capturing peak vitality. Teas are dried immediately using optimal methods to preserve essential oils and therapeutic compounds. Freshness translates directly to effectiveness.
We hand-blend in limited quantities, 5-10 pounds for teas, 1-2 gallons for tinctures. This allows meticulous quality control, adjustment for seasonal variation, and attention to detail impossible when processing hundreds of gallons. Every batch is inspected, tested, and personally approved before bottling.
Each product undergoes multiple quality checks: visual inspection for purity, aroma assessment for freshness, proper extraction verification for tinctures, and energetic evaluation for flower essences. We taste/test everything ourselves before it reaches you. If it's not medicine we'd give our own families, it doesn't leave our farm.
Products are bottled in amber glass to protect from light degradation, labeled with complete transparency (ingredients, preparation method, usage instructions), and packaged with care. We include educational materials so you understand not just what you're using, but why and how to use it effectively.
Every product in our collection carries the intention, expertise, and care of true seed-to-bottle herbalism. Whether you’re supporting calm, sleep, the heart, or simply connecting with plant medicine, we’re honored to support your journey.*
