Handcrafted apothecary
for heart-centered comfort
How to brew
Drink 2–3 cups daily for best results. Many people notice better stress response within days; the cardiovascular-strengthening effects of hawthorn typically build over 4–8 weeks of consistent use.
Scoop 1 teaspoon of loose leaf per 8oz cup into a strainer or infuser. Use 1 tablespoon for a stronger infusion.
Bring filtered water to a boil, then let it sit 30 seconds off-boil (roughly 200°F). Pour over the herbs and cover the cup or pot for 7–10 minutes, covering keeps the aromatic oils in the cup rather than the steam.
Strain and sip warm. Sweeten with raw honey if you like.
Store the tea in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container. Properly stored, loose-leaf tea holds its potency for 6–12 months.

From the herbalist
“Happy Heart came together during a grief season in my own life. Hawthorn is the classic herbalist's heart plant; rose softens; linden quiets. I wanted a tea that was allowed to just hold me without trying to fix anything, while I did the slow work of recovering. This is that tea.”

You must check with your cardiologist or pharmacist first. Hawthorn can potentiate (increase the effects of) certain heart medications, including digoxin and beta-blockers. Motherwort may interact with blood thinners. If you take any cardiovascular medications—for blood pressure, heart rhythm, cholesterol, or blood thinning—do not start this tea without professional guidance. Many people use it successfully alongside medications, but monitoring is essential.
Only with your doctor's approval. These are powerful cardiovascular herbs with real effects on the heart. If you have been diagnosed with any cardiovascular condition or take cardiovascular medication, you need professional oversight. This tea may be appropriate as complementary support, but your cardiologist needs to know about it and monitor your response.
Some benefits are immediate; others take weeks. You may notice reduced heart palpitations or better stress response within days. However, the cardiovascular-strengthening effects of hawthorn typically take 4-8 weeks of consistent daily use to become noticeable. For best results, drink 2-3 cups daily and give it at least a month. These herbs work through nourishment, not force.
Absolutely not. This tea is for supporting cardiovascular wellness, not a medical treatment. If you have been prescribed heart medication, continue taking it as directed. This tea may be appropriate as complementary support, but never stop or reduce medication without your doctor's explicit guidance. Heart health requires professional medical care.
Yes, especially if you have risk factors. This blend is excellent for preventive cardiovascular care—particularly if you have cardiovascular risk factors, stress, or want to support heart health proactively. The herbs nourish and strengthen cardiovascular tissue while protecting from stress damage. Many people use it as daily wellness support rather than waiting for problems to develop.
Keep it in a cool, dry, dark place. Store in an airtight container away from heat, moisture, and direct sunlight. Properly stored, loose leaf tea maintains potency for 6-12 months. You'll know it's fresh by the strong aroma when you open the container—if the scent has faded significantly, the medicinal properties may have diminished.
